| Battlelords of the 23rd Century is a paper and pencil role-playing game designed by Lawrence R. Sims in the early nineties. The game's tagline is Roleplaying in a dangerous
future. The Battlelords of the 23rd Century license was later sold by ODS to SSDC, Inc. in September of 1999.
Game features:
- Multiple alien races (13 in the main rulebook alone. More info on the races strengths and weaknesses can be found on the

- d100 based system (skills, no classes, experience tied to skills)
- matrix powers (psionics)
- universe spans multiple galaxies
- large selection of cybernetics, weapons and armor options
Criticisms of the game:
- no space combat or construction systems
- many typos
- too many weapons and armor
- complicated armor rules
