Brock (professional wrestling)

In professional wrestling slang, the term to Brock means to botch the biggest move in the biggest match, or to double-clutch (see pro-wrestling slang) on the top rope.

The term is derived from Brock Lesnar's mishap during the main event of WrestleMania XIX. This featured Brock Lesnar versus Kurt Angle in a World Wrestling Entertainment Championship match, Brock attempted a Shooting Star Press and nearly broke his neck in the attempt, forcing Angle to improvise a finish in the ring. It was the first time he used the move in a televised WWE match (though he had used it previously in OVW), and was allegedly supposed to end the match with this move instead of his patented F5.
