| Gladiators 2000 was a spinoff of the then-popular American Gladiators, and was co-hosted by 13-year-old Maria Sansone and 20-year-old Ryan Seacrest. It
premiered in 1994 and was syndicated
nationwide weekly. In Gladiators 2000, child competitors would team up with an American Gladiator coach and compete
by running through a series of obstacles, and answering questions on various subjects along the way.
The show ran for 52 programs, and subsequently faded into obscurity together with American Gladiators. However, both of
the original co-hosts are still active in the television industry. Gladiators 2000 was produced by Samuel Goldwyn
Productions in association with Four Point Entertainment.
