Linda Edwards McMahon is the long-time wife of professional wrestling promoter Vince McMahon and graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She has frequently appeared with him, and their children, in events staged by their company, World Wrestling Entertainment. In the pro wrestling storylines, she is often at wildly odds with her husband and their children. Some highly unsophisticated fans (marks) may accept these histrionics at face value. Knowledgeable fans (smarks) understand that this is wildly exaggerated for entertainment value and audience draw, but many enjoy it nonetheless.

She is the current CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment.
