Same Game is a puzzle game that appears to have originated on the Apple Macintosh, but now has a variety of clones. Some of these are Same Gnome, Ksame, and Same Game (http://javascript.internet.com/games/same-game.html).

In the game, a number of distinct objects are held in place in a box. The player may remove two or more adjacent identical objects. All objects drop in a consistent way into the gaps made by removal, down towards the bottom left corner of the box. The aim of this puzzle game is to remove all of the objects, or as many as possible, thus gaining a high score. The larger the group of objects removed at once the larger the score. A bonus is awarded for clearing the entire box.
