Star Trek: The Next Generation, A Final Unity is a computer game by Spectrum Holobyte, based on the Star Trek universe.

The game is somewhat linear in nature, with a bit of multiple choice to change the dialog.

The game takes place somewhere around the seventh season, and showcases Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Enterprise-D, in an adventure dealing with the Garidians, a subordinate race of the Romulans, and an unknown race to the Federation.

Apparently, it seems that a device that united an entire race of people eons ago, is due to make a reapperance in the 24th century. The Romulans/Garidians wants it, the unknown race wants it, therefore, in the name of interstellar peace, the Federation also wants it.

The conclusion of the title relies on the ethics of Jean-Luc Picard and the Federation to win.
