| WWE Judgment Day is a WWE
Pay-Per-View event that started in May of 2000, which follows the WWE Backlash Pay-Per-View in April, the event is now exclusive to the Smackdown "brand," and will mostly be used to end feuds from Smackdown coming out
of WrestleMania.
2000
The first installment of Judgment Day came in May 2000 from Louisville, Kentucky. In the opening match Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty, Grandmaster Sexay & Rikishi) went up against Kurt
Angle, Edge & Christian in a 6-man tag team match; the match ended when Scotty 2 Hotty pinned Edge, giving Too Cool the
victory. The European Champion Eddie Guerrero successfully defended his
title in a triple threat match against Perry Saturn & Dean Malenko. The Big Show took on
Shane McMahon in a No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere match, with
the help of Test, Albert, the Big Boss Man & Bull Buchanan; Shane McMahon got the victory. Chris Benoit took on Chris Jericho in a
submission match with Benoit's Intercontinental Title on the line; due to Jericho passing out, Benoit remained Intercontinental
Champion. In a tables match, D-Generation X members Road Dogg & X-Pac took on the Dudley Boyz
in a tables match, with a little help from X-Pac's girlfriend Tori & Gerald Brisco, D-X left victorious. In the main event, a 60-minute iron man match, Triple H took on The Rock for the WWE Championship, with Shawn
Michaels as special guest referee. With a last minute interference by the returning Undertaker, Triple H won by a score of 6-5.
2001
The second edition of WWE Judgment Day took place in Sacramento, California. To start things off William Regal took on Rikishi, which Regal won by a
pinfall. Kurt Angle next took on Chris Benoit in a 2/3 Falls match, where the first fall had to be won by pinfall, the second fall had to be
won by submission, and the third fall if necessary would be a ladder match. The first fall was won by Benoit to take an early 1-0
lead, the second fall was won by Angle to tie it up, and in the final fall with help from his friends Edge & Christian, Angle won
the ladder match. WWE Hardcore Champion Rhyno defended his title in a triple
threat match against Test & The Big Show; Rhyno came out victorious by pinfall. Chyna defeated challenger Lita in a match
for the WWE Women's Title. Kane went up against Intercontinental Champion,
Triple H in a chain match; Kane won to become the new Intercontinental
Champion. Next up was a "Tag Team Turmoil" match to determine who would be the number 1 contenders for the tag team titles the
next night on RAW. The Acolytes (Faarooq & Bradshaw) eliminated the Radicalz
(Perry Saturn & Dean
Malenko) first. Then the Acolytes eliminated the Dudley Boyz after interference from Hardcore & Crash Holly. Up next X-Factor (X-Pac & Albert)
eliminated the Acolytes. Then came the Hardy Boyz who were eliminated by X-Factor. Then Chris Jericho teamed up with Chris Benoit and
eliminated X-Factor. Next up were Edge & Christian who were eliminated by Benoit & Jericho, giving the Tag Team Turmoil win to Chris Benoit
& Chris Jericho*. In the night's main event, WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The
Undertaker with help from Vince McMahon & Triple H, Kane tried to help
his (storyline) brother The Undertaker, but was not able to do so.

2002
The next edition of WWE Judgment Day was held in Nashville, Tennessee. Intercontinental Champion Eddie Guerrero successfully defended his title against challenger Rob Van Dam. Women's Champion Trish Stratus
successfully defended her title against Stacy Keibler. In tag team action
Brock Lesnar & Paul
Heyman teamed up to defeat the Hardy Boyz when Paul Heyman pinned
Jeff Hardy. In a handicap match, Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Big Show
& Ric Flair. Edge
defeated former friend Kurt Angle in a hair versus hair match, forcing Angle to
be shaved bald. Triple H took on Chris Jericho in a Hell in a Cell match. Triple H
came out victorious over longtime rival Jericho. Tag Team Champions Billy
(Gunn) & Chuck (Palumbo) defended their titles against Rikishi & Billy & Chuck's manager Rico; Rikishi & Rico won the match to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. In the main event,
The Undertaker defeated Hulk
Hogan for the WWE Undisputed Title.
2003
Judgment Day 2003 was held in Charlotte, North Carolina the opening match was an 6-Man Tag Match involving the teams of John Cena & the F.B.I. (Chuck Palumbo &
Johnny "the Bull" Stamboli) going up against Chris Benoit, Rhyno & Spanky. Chris
Benoit's team won when he made John Cena tap out to the Crippler Crossface. La Résistance (Rene Dupree & Sylvain Grenier) defeated
Test & Scott
Steiner in tag team action. Eddie Guerrero & Tajiri defeated Team Angle (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) in a ladder
match for the WWE Tag Team Titles. In a battle royal for the returning Intercontinental Title, Christian defeated Val Venis, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Test, Rob Van Dam,
Kane, Goldust & Booker T. Torrie Wilson defeated Sable in a
bikini contest. Mr. America defeated Roddy Piper. Triple H defeated Kevin Nash by disqualification to keep his World Heavyweight Title. Jazz successfully defended her Women's Title by defeating Victoria, Jacqueline & Trish Stratus. Brock Lesnar defeated The Big
Show in a stretcher match to successfully defend the WWE Championship.

This edition of WWE Judgement Day is scheduled to be on May 22, 2005. It is going to take place at the Target Center in
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
